Reports To: Vice President of Finance & Technology  JOB PURPOSE: Design, planning, execution, control, and monitoring of supply chain activities with the objective of creating net value through cost management, inventory optimization, and distribution efficiencies for a growing corporation with over 120 company-owned retail locations, over 60 wholesale partners and various other businesses involved in manufacturing, transportation and financial services.Key Duties And Responsibilities:  Ensure a seamless supply chain with a focus on controlling costs and inventory levels. Develop and monitor purchasing policies. Manage strategic supplier relationships, including identification, evaluation, negotiation, contracting, performance measurement, and dispute resolution. Develop and operate a process to efficiently convert approved purchase requisitions into purchase orders and place the order with the vendor Evaluate and recommend improvements to internal distribution Evaluate opportunities to leverage nontraditional procurement strategies such as reverse auction purchasing and vendor-managed inventory Identify opportunities to mitigate business risk through forward contracts and options. | ||||
